Ants on Peonies: Did you know that Peony flowers can’t open without ants to eat the sugar off the buds? It’s called symbiosis. In the same way, we can’t live without each other, although in the case of people, it’s not our extra sweetness that needs to be removed. Peonies exist to remind us of what sweetness looks like.
